To provide a driver/labouring capability for the Accommodation Services Unit in support of service families and the MoD.
Job Introduction
We have an interesting opportunity for a self motivated candidate to join a busy prestigious military site to work as a driver/labourer. Main Responsibilities
- To ensure serviceability of furniture stocks in the warehouse before delivery.
- To select furnishings and stores for issue in a clean and serviceable condition.
- To deliver and collect selected/ordered items of Defence Accommodation Stores to MoD service married quarters, temporary accommodation, barracks, stores and warehouses or where directed by management.
- To deliver and collect selected Defence Accommodation Stores and household furnishings for return to the warehouse or where directed by management.
- To clean Defence Accommodation Stores when required.
- To operate a forklift truck and palletiser
- To reorganize the stock within the warehouse when required under supervision.
- To drive a Sodexo vehicle and comply with Sodexo’s driving policy and regulations.
