Package Description

We have an excellent opportunity for an FSA with a passion for baking to work with an established team. Based at a prestigious Grammar School consisting of both late 19th Century and modern buildings on a large site.

The contract is 15 hours per week Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 11.00am term time.

Catering experience in schools would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given.

Full uniform including safety shoes are provided.

The roles are subject to DBS checks which are fully funded by Sodexo

Main Responsibilities

You’ll be responsible for preparing and serving food with care and attention, replenishing stock, and ensuring all work areas are glistening! With great service at the heart of what we do, you’ll always provide excellent service.

To keep our service running like clockwork, you’ll complete all administration when needed, focusing on tasks such as checking food temperatures, food wastage, cleaning and washing up.

You will always ensure that all Health and Safety regulations are followed.

The Ideal Candidate

This is a customer facing role so it’s important to have a positive, friendly attitude. You will work as part of a team and will need to have strong communication skills, being able to also work independently.

Experience working in a similar industry i.e. food service, catering or hospitality would be great, but generally customer service experience will tick the box!

A general knowledge of health and safety procedures would also be beneficial.
