Job Introduction

We are looking for a proactive Audio-Visual Room Checker to join our team in Brentford. To test AV equipment in all meeting rooms, ensuring these rooms meet the approved standards and configuration.  You will be part of a two person team of room checkers working within the AV Front of House team.  Attention to detail is important so that all our meeting rooms with unified communication are fully function ensuring our clients have a good meeting room experience

Main Responsibilities

  • To ensure meeting rooms are checked in accordance with the schedule, following the Meeting Room Checklist.
  • To carry out the checks in line with client requirements and Health & Safety guidelines
  • Operational checks of equipment in the room and logging fault tickets for other service department when needed.
  • Undertaking quick fixes where possible replacing damage cables
  • Responsible for ensuring that the equipment is safe for use and that the quality of work carried out is of the highest standard
  • Setting up multi-purpose meeting room when required
  • Preventative maintenance to AV equipment
  • To assist with any other Front of House tasks or Back of House porterage tasks as and when required
  • Any other responsibilities as requested by your supervisor and any senior member of staff

  • Strong knowledge of MS Teams, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong team player and a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Intuitive and proactive nature
  • High moral standards with absolute integrity
  • Experience within a corporate environment
