Are you looking for a permanent weekend cleaning Job? We may have a vacancy for you! We have a weekend cleaning role with potential for overtime and additional hours.

We are looking for a weekend Cleaner to join our current cleaning team, working in an Approved Premises residential property. This is a hostel and has residents coming and going from the property however we are looking for a cleaner to clean public areas only and not bedrooms

The role will be to provide an enhanced clean and disinfection of highly used touch points, replenishment of consumables and any other associated cleaning tasks.

The role is a permanent position and we need four hours every Saturday and Sunday. We are very flexible as to when the four hours can be so long as it is after our morning cleaning team have left.

Cleaning experience is desirable, however not essential as full training will be given.

Main Responsibilities

       

To Providing the highest level of cleaning service within your area of responsibility in line with the clients’ specifications

Providing a range of disinfection and cleaning services to highly used touch points include offices/meeting rooms, toilets/showers/bathrooms, kitchens & communal areas

Ensuring all stocks are replenished in your area of responsibility

Empty bins as directed

Sanitise meeting room areas between uses.

Making yourself familiar with and follow all company procedures and regulations

Participating in the Health and Safety Policy of the company and report any dangers, near misses or hazards you encounter to your Coordinator/Line Manager

Replenish consumables including toilet rolls, soaps,  hand towels & hand sanitiser

Clock in and out daily via the TMS system; report any absence to the cleaning manager

Job Introduction

To ensure that all designated areas are cleaned efficiently and effectively according to the standards lay down by GSK & Sodexo

Main Responsibilities

Accountabilities or “What you have to do”

  •  Carry out any / all cleaning duties as requested by your supervisor / management team
  •  To ensure that all tasks are carried out in a professional manner, following all “safe systems of work” & risk    assessment directions
  •  Wear the correct and appropriate PPE specified at all times
  •  To comply with all statutory GSK & Sodexo Health & Safety Rules and Regulations
  •  To comply with all GSK & Sodexo security regulations for cleaning materials, equipment and buildings.
  •  To provide high personal standards of work/performance, personal hygiene and appearance
  •  To assist with any special duties requested, some of which may occur outside normal working hours
  •  To perform any complaints/incidents of accidents, fire, theft or loss, damage or any other irregularities and take action if practicable
  • Undertake all required training in relation to all aspects of the cleaning service delivered to the client, as requested.
  • Complete a schedule of cleaning tasks, as directed by the cleaning supervisor / cleaning Manager
  • Wear any items of personal protective equipment, as specified by the cleaning supervisor / manager
  • Ensure that all requirements in relation to COSHH are adhered to, as specified by the cleaning supervisor /manager
  • The method of conducting all cleaning tasks is as directed via the Great / cleaning offer task cards / pictorial task cards
  • To report all faults in relation to cleaning machinery/equipment to the cleaning supervisor.
  • To report all buidling defects to the cleaning supervisor
  • To carry out any reasonable request, as specified by the cleaning supervisor / manager

Key Areas of Job:

  • Order stock for your designated area where applicable
  •  To ensure that communication is constant
  •  To attend all company meetings and training as requested
