You keep things running, and we’ll fast track your career as a Door Technician in Dublin! (D22) 'Opportunity's knocking' for a professional and self motivated individual to join a team of dedicated technicians on our client site. Our door is open to someone with electrical and mechanical qualification/skills who has experience working in an industrial environment!

What you’ll do:

  • Conduct schedule tests and calibration procedures to verify the functionality and accuracy of electrical components within the door systems.
  • Adjust settings as necessary to optimize performance.
  • Have a good understanding of Hydraulics and Pneumatics
  • Fault find to component or circuit board level
  • Undertake Planned Preventative Maintenance on a wide range of industrial doors, dock levellers, loading docks and air locks.
  • Interact with customers to understand their needs, provide technical support, and address any concerns or questions on systems.
  • Role will include working on various specialised door types, training to be provided. Continual learning also offered to assist the role
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements and safety standards related to scope of work
  • Makes decisions within parameters set by line Manager using job/specialist experience
  • Produce technical reports that explain ongoing issues and faults.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, PPE in a good working condition.
  • Report to supervisor, keeping them informed of activity progress and highlight any problems
What you bring:
  • Industrial door experience including installations, service & repairs
  • Experience in mechanical, commercial, and/or industrial maintenance roles
  • A good knowledge of electrical & mechanical fault-finding.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, with an ability to work efficiently within a team and individually
  • A safe approach to using power tools and hand tools
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues with automated door systems
  • Technical training in electrical systems preferred
  • A systematic approach to problem solving
  • Familiar with the use of MS Office, with the ability to produce reports
