Get a fast fix for your career as a Handyperson in Dublin (D22)! With Sodexo, operational excellence starts with you. You will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong carpentry skills, as well as experience in general maintenance and repair work.

What you’ll do:

  • Perform non-technical related maintenance and repairs on a wide range of assets
  • Planned Maintenance and repairs on a wide range of assets, including the installation of hardware, shelves, cabinets, and furniture
  • Installation of hardware such as doors, door frames, shelving systems
  • Repairing and refinishing furniture
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues and develop effective solutions
  • Collaborate with other team members and contractors as needed
  • Always adhere to safety procedures and guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
  • Liaising with the site Helpdesk to close out PPMs and Corrective works
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed
  • Keep tools, equipment, PPE in a good working condition

What you bring:

  • Proven track record in similar role, preferably with at least 3 years' experience
  • Proficiency in a wide range of non-technical building fabric techniques, including but not limited to installing, repairing, and replacing doors, door frames, hardware, shelves, cabinets, and furniture.
  • Ability to produce high-quality workmanship
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Good literacy and clear communication skills
  • Experience adhering to strict safety and quality standards
  • Adaptability to work in various settings and conditions, including occasional evening or weekend shifts, to accommodate project schedules and deadlines
  • Collaborative, with the ability to work as part of an engaged and focused team
