Job Title: Health and Safety Advisor

Location: Various different sites, No fixed place of work

Salary: Up to 55,000 Euros


As a Health and Safety Advisor at Sodexo, you are a proactive advocate for health and safety and a key contributor to fostering a culture of safety across our service lines. In this role, you will promote a positive health and safety culture and ensure compliance with all Sodexo UK&I Health & Safety, Food Safety, Risk, Business Continuity, and Environmental policies and processes.

Your expertise will support operational teams, enabling them to meet their health and safety responsibilities effectively. By driving continuous improvement in health and safety practices, you will play a vital role in maintaining a zero-accident rate and enhancing health and safety awareness within the organisation.

What you’ll do:

• Promote a positive safety culture and implement health and safety policies across all contracts.

• Provide expert advice and support on health and safety issues to operational teams.

• Review risk assessments and ensure compliance with legislative requirements.

• Conduct health and safety audits, inspections, and training to support operational excellence.

• Collaborate with the IOI HSEQ team to drive improvements in health and safety practices.


What you bring:

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in occupational health and safety.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Broad commercial experience and strong business acumen.

• Experience in risk management and business continuity planning.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and able to work outside normal hours when necessary.
