Job Introduction

Sodexo has a great opportunity for a Food Services Business Support Lead to join our established team working with our prestigious clients based between their sites in Paddington, London and Reading. 

Joining our team and travelling between both sites, you will deliver and govern the administration function that supports the delivery of the Food Services function IFM across sites in the UK Portfolio and support activities that enable the operations team to deliver solution-based services to our clients by providing support to the Account Manager in order to deliver a consistent and complete application of Sodexo financial processes to ensure an accurate financial result each month. 

The Food Services Business Support Lead will produce detailed and accurate reporting to a high standard in order to present to stakeholders and own the month end process to ensure that the Sodexo P&L reporting reflects a high level of accuracy whilst acting as financial support to all UK sites to ensure accurate reporting and improvement of profitability. 

You will liaise with Account Managers & the Commercial Finance Manager to improve contract & team performance and assist in implementing budgets for every client and divisional profit centre whilst delivering a proactive financial & data analyst model to support the development of the contract across all sites and producing budget/forecast and R&O for the contract to a strong commercial & sound technical level.

 

About You  

Essential experience and knowledge requirement for this role: 

•    Ability to prioritise, manage your own workload, be flexible, cope with demand and achieve deadlines

•    Competent at planning and able to manage short and medium-term deadlines and competing priorities

•    A very visible and high-profile client facing position providing strict adherence and governance

•    Experience of analysing information and quickly determining key issues of focus 

•    Ability to challenge and influence in order to achieve best practice  

•    Methodical and process driven with excellent attention to detail 

•    Resilient, determined and able to work flexibly throughout the UK&I

•    Relationship building with finance colleagues throughout the segment, within shared services and beyond from site level to Account Director Level in operations and where necessary with client stakeholders 

•    Able to work collaboratively and taking the lead where necessary, work in a structured way to deliver outcomes

•    Able to deliver sound forecast, budget information for both client and Sodexo.  

•    Positive, professional and articulate communicator

•    Seeks winning outcomes at all times

•    Financial / Supply Management 

•    Excellent communication skills 

•    Soft and hard services experience

•    Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office 

•    Experience of SAP & Power BI desirable 

 

Qualifications required:

•    Qualified or studying towards a professional accountancy qualification (ACCA/CIMA)
