Job Introduction

As an Electrical Technician at Sodexo, located in Dublin, Ireland, you are not just a skilled professional but a crucial contributor to our Integrated Facilities Management team. Your role ensures a safe, attractive, and welcoming environment for our prestigious client in Dublin 18.

What you’ll do:
  • Undertake maintenance and reactive activities on a variety of Electrical Building Services equipment.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance services on electrical systems and fixtures.
  • Manage Life Safety Systems (LSS) and associated vendors.
  • Support sustainability initiatives and manage energy consumption.
  • Coordinate with external contractors for maintenance and breakdown services.
  • Plan and organize minor installation and improvement works.
  • Conduct cost and delivery assessments in accordance with Sodexo procurement procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols, risk assessments, and lock-out tag-out procedures.
  • Take ownership and accountability for all aspects of the role, ensuring timely and high-quality task delivery.
  • Support all elements of the Tech Team’s workload.
What you bring:
  • 3 years' experience in electrical building services and plant maintenance.
  • Safe Pass Training.
  • Level 6 of the NQAI Certificate in Electrical Craft Practice or equivalent.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer focus with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Numerate and computer literate.
  • Full Clean Driver’s License.
